-Craig Samuelson - friend from Concordia college
-Nick Guida - Concordia grad who Palmer knows
Location of the collision
-Halenbeck Hall - St. Cloud State University
-Class 4A Section 8 - Championship Game
-Teams - Maple Grove vs Buffalo
-The "Worlds" collide
-Erik Olson - a player on the Maple Grove varsity basketball team
-Darrell Olson - President of the Maple Grove basketball booster club
-Craig Samuelson - one of the referees for this championship game
-Nick Guida - head coach of the Buffalo boys basketball team
Results of the collision
-Maple Grove wins the game by a score of 58-40
-Maple Grove is going to the state basketball tournament
-Erik Olson fulfills his dream and is state tournament bound
-Darrell Olson is a proud parent and has a very happy booster club
-Craig Samuelson does a fine job...selected to ref in state tournament
-Nick Guida is very disappointed but proud of his team

Aftershocks from the collision in St. Cloud
-Maple Grove plays Osseo in the first round of the state tournament
-The Osseo coaches are friends of Palmer
-Joey Sonnenfeld, star player for Osseo, is the son of Palmer's friend
-Craig Samuelson could be assigned to officiate this game
